January 22, 2026--ETFGI reports Actively Managed ETFs Hit Record US$1.92Tr as 2025 Marks Highest‑Ever Inflows and 69th Consecutive Month of Growth.

During December the actively managed ETFs industry globally gathered net inflows of US$56.23 billion, bringing 2025 net inflows to a record US$637.47 billion, according to ETFGI's December 2025 Active ETF industry landscape insights report, an annual paid-for research subscription service. (All dollar values in USD unless otherwise noted.) ETFGI is a leading independent research and consultancy firm renowned for its expertise in subscription research, consulting services, events, and ETF TV on global ETF industry trends.

Highlights

Global assets in actively managed ETFs reached a new all-time high of $1.92 trillion at the end of December, surpassing the previous record of $1.86 trillion set in November 2025.

Assets rose 64.5% year-to-date in 2025, increasing from $1.17 trillion at the end of 2024 to $1.92 trillion.

December 2025 saw net inflows of $56.23 billion.

Year-to-date net inflows of $637.47 billion set a new record, exceeding the prior highs of $373.54 billion in 2024 and $183.40 billion in 2023.

December marked the 69th consecutive month of net inflows.

Actively managed equity ETFs and ETPs attracted $33.31 billion in net inflows in December.
