Doha Bank to launch ETF at Qatar market
March 9, 2015--Like last Thursday, the Doha-based Qatar Exchange 20 Index added insignificantly and reached 12,144.01 per cent on Sunday, March 8.
Doha Bank stabilised by gaining 0.60 per cent to close at QAR53.30. Earlier in the day, the lender said it plans to launch an exchange-traded fund (ETF) on the bourse with Amwal LLC and The Group Securities.
Energy shares help to stabilise the Abu Dhabi bourse
March 9, 2015--The ADX General Index added 0.14 per cent to hit 4,593.71 points on Sunday, March 8.
Dana Gas and Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (also known as Taqa) were among the top gainers, gaining 2.30 per cent and 1.40 per cent, respectively.
DP World hits one-month low at NASDAQ Dubai
March 5, 2015--The FTSE NASDAQ Dubai UAE 20 Index closed 1.37 per cent lower to hit 3,741.59 points on Thursday, March 5.
DP World fell by 2.20 per cent to hit $20.15, the lowest level since February 5, 2015.

Market bellwether Industries Qatar was as modest as the market was, gaining 0.14 per cent to hit QAR146.40. Doha Bank plummeted 8.50 per cent to QAR53.
UAE stock markets lose out during first week of March
March 5, 2015--The United Arab Emirates' (UAE) stock exchange indices DFMGI in Dubai and ADXGI in Abu Dhabi performed differently on Thursday, March 5.
While Dubai closed unchanged at 3,747.54 points, Abu Dhabi dived 1.83 per cent to hit 4,587.18 points.
NASDAQ Dubai index loses slightly

DP World closed off 1.90 per cent at $20.60.
Qatar Islamic Bank upgrades London headquarters
March 4, 2015--The Qatar Exchange 20 Index lost 1.32 per cent to hit 12,130.25 per cent on Wednesday, March 4.
Qatari German Medical company was one of the top gainers, ending up 2.76 per cent at QAR11.17. Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) lost 1.10 per cent to reach QAR101.
Abu Dhabi exchange lacklustre
March 4, 2015--The series of lacklustre, thin trading sessions did not halt in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, March 4.
The market gauge ADXGI slipped 0.13 per cent to 4,672.60 points. RAK Ceramics topped the charts by gaining 11 per cent to reach AED3.50.
Dubai market loses as UAE PMI hits 5-month low
March 4, 2015--The DFM general index lost for fourth session straight on Wednesday, March 4, closing 0.27 per cent lower at 3,747.38 points, a five-week low. Dubai Parks gained the most, closing 11.25 per cent higher at AED0.821.
Dar Takaful was the biggest decliner, ending off 8.70 per cent at AED0.671.
Masraf Al-Rayan shareholders okay 17.5 per cent dividend
March 3, 2015--The Qatar Exchange 20 Index lost 1. 27 per cent to hit 12,291.90 per cent on Tuesday, March 3rd.
Masraf Al-Rayan dived 2.70 per cent to QAR46.80.
