July 1, 2015--A series for the GDP deflator in index form is produced by the Treasury from data provided by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR).
The GDP deflator set is updated after every ONS Quarterly National Accounts release (at the end of each quarter) and whenever the OBR updates its GDP deflator forecasts.

July 1, 2015--On June 29, 2015, Standard & Poor's Ratings Services lowered its long-term rating on Greece to 'CCC-' from 'CCC' and assigned a negative outlook.
We now believe the probability that Greece will exit the eurozone has increased to about 50%, following the Greek government's decision over the weekend to reject official creditors' loan proposals and instead schedule a national referendum on whether to accept the terms of the proposals.

China Construction Bank has launched an renminbi-denominated money market exchange traded fund on Euronext Paris.

Deutsche Boerse and Irish Stock Exchange expand their partnership
June 30, 2015--As of today, Deutsche Börse Market Data + Services is taking over the hosting of the Irish Stock Exchange's new trading surveillance system.
Deutsche Börse will host the hardware on its premises in Frankfurt and provide support services. The surveillance system further enhances the electronic market surveillance capabilities of the Dublin-based exchange.
Eight new exchange traded products issued by Boost ETP launched on Xetra
June 30, 2015--Four new exchange traded commodities (ETCs) and four new exchange traded notes (ETNs) from issuer Boost ETP Plc have been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Tuesday.
The ETCs relate to indices in the Nasdaq Commodity Index Family and enable investors to participate in the performance of 1-month futures contracts on individual commodities. The individual commodities are Brent crude and WTI oil, gold and natural gas.

ESMA issues final MiFID standards on authorization, passporting, registration of third-country firms
June 30, 2015--The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has its Final Report on MiFID II-MiFIR draft technical standards (RTSs) on authorisation, passporting, registration of third country firms and cooperation between competent authorities.
This Final Report covers the majority of the draft RTS and ITS on investor protection topics which ESMA is expected to develop. The remaining draft technical standards ESMA is mandated to develop under MiFID II and MiFIR will be published by the end of 2015.
ESMA agrees to proposed short-selling ban by Greek HCMC
June 29, 2015--The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has issued today its official opinion agreeing to a seven-day emergency short selling prohibition proposed by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HMCM) under the Short Selling Regulation.
Tthe ban will take effect on
00:00:01 hours (CET) 30 June 2015 and remain in place until 24:00:00 (CET) on 6 July 2015 and temporarily prohibit transactions in any financial instrument
that create, or increase, a net short position on any of the shares admitted to trading on the Athens Exchange and Multilateral Trading Facility "EN.A".
