MLP AG will replace GfK SE in SDAX

March 17, 2017--On Friday, Deutsche Börse announced an unscheduled change to the SDAX Index. The shares of MLP AG will replace the shares of GfK SE.

Due to the acquisition of GfK SE by Acceleratio Capital N.V., the free float of GfK SE changed again and dropped to 3.34 %. With a free float below 10 percent, the company is ineligible for index inclusion, according to the rules in the Guide to the Equity Indices of Deutsche Börse AG. The change will become effective on 22 March 2017.

ETFGI reports assets invested in ETFs and ETPs listed in Europe reach a new record of US$620 Bn at the end of February 2017

March 16, 2017--ETFGI, the leading independent research and consultancy firm on trends in the global ETF/ETP ecosystem, reported today assets invested in ETFs/ETPs listed in Europe reached a new record high of US$620 billion at the end February 2017 surpassing the prior record of US$599 billion set at the end of January 2017.

ETFs/ETPs listed in Europe gathered US$12.40 Bn of net new assets in February marking the 30th consecutive month of net inflows, according to preliminary data from ETFGI's February 2017 global ETF and ETP industry insights report.

The Lyxor UKĀ£ 10Y Inflation Expectations UCITS ETF (LON: UKBE) targets the spread between traditional bond yields and those of inflation-linked bonds, thus offering a pure play on inflation expectations without exposing the investor to changing interest rates.

March 13. 2017-Global Advisors (Jersey) is announcing ETF industry veteran, Laurent Kssis, as interim managing director of XBT Provider AB: issuer of world's only publicly listed bitcoin Exchange Traded Note (ETN).

Kssis joins XBT Provider as demand for bitcoin-based financial products, especially ETFs, is at all-time highs. Global Advisors sees underserved demand in key markets globally and intends to capture it with a series of products slated for 2017 and 2018. Kssis will be integral in this pursuit.
