February 24, 2017--It's a commission-free world out there, embrace it. E*Trade Financial (ETFC) added 47 more commission-free exchange-traded funds to its lineup so far this year, which includes the three dozen it added in January.
February 24, 2017--BMO Asset Management Inc. (BMO AM) will be adding six Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) listings on the Aequitas NEO Exchange (NEO Exchange).
The new listings will provide clients with access to the full spectrum of the U.S. Treasury bond market, segmented by term.

February 23, 2017--Guggenhiem offers a suite of 18 fixed income ETFs called BulletShares that offer investors a fixed portfolio of corporate bonds all maturing in the same year.
Investors can choose either investment grade or high yield flavors, with maturities ranging from 2017 to 2026 (Table 1). At the end of each target year, when all bonds in the portfolio have matured, the fund will be closed and net assets returned to shareholders.

February 23, 2017--The Federal Reserve Board and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) on Thursday issued guidance explaining how supervisors should examine for compliance with the swap margin rule, which established margin requirements for swaps not cleared through a clearinghouse.
The guidance explains that the Board and the OCC expect swap entities covered by the rule to prioritize their compliance efforts surrounding the March 1, 2017, variation margin deadline according to the size and risk of their counterparties.

February 23, 20176--The Securities and Exchange Commission today published information and guidance for investors and the financial services industry on the fast-growing use of robo-advisers, which are registered investment advisers that use computer algorithms to provide investment advisory services online with often limited human interaction.
Because of the unique issues raised by robo-advisers, the Commission's Division of Investment Management issued guidance for investment advisers with suggestions on meeting disclosure, suitability and compliance obligations under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.

ETFs/ETPs listed in the United States gathered US$41.84 Bn of net new assets in January marking the 11th consecutive month of net inflows, according to data from ETFGI’s January 2017 global ETF and ETP industry insights report.
