Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange aims for IPO and self listing Q1 2016

July 2, 2015--Tanzania's Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) aims for an initial public offer (IPO) of its shares within 6 months followed by listing itself on the exchange.

It has published a call for lead transaction advisor, sponsoring stockbroker and other experts to express interest by 21 July.

Ten country case studies were also conducted to shed light on industrializing through trade. The findings from this exercise informed the policy recommendations contained in this Report.
