July 3, 2015-Although the South African market for exchange-traded products (ETPs) has shown substantial growth since the first exchange-traded fund (ETF) was launched 15 years ago, local investors haven't been quite as enthusiastic as their global counterparts.
Why not?

Speaking to Moneyweb on the sidelines of the CoreShares inaugural ETF Exchange, Gareth Stobie, CoreShares MD, said there is a lot of education that still needs to take place in the South African market.

Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange aims for IPO and self listing Q1 2016

July 2, 2015--Tanzania's Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) aims for an initial public offer (IPO) of its shares within 6 months followed by listing itself on the exchange.

It has published a call for lead transaction advisor, sponsoring stockbroker and other experts to express interest by 21 July.
