Invesco Announces Changes to its Canadian Product Line-up
May 1, 2026--Invesco Canada Ltd. ("Invesco") announced today proposed changes to its Canadian mutual fund and ETF line-up.
Fund Name Changes
Effective on or about May 8, 2026, the name of Invesco International Developed Dynamic-Multifactor Index ETF ("IIMF" and "IUMF.F") will change to Invesco International Developed Multifactor Index ETF and the name of Invesco Russell 1000 Dynamic-Multifactor Index ETF ("IUMF" and "IUMF.F") will change to Invesco Russell 1000 Multifactor Index ETF.
There are no changes to the investment objectives or investment strategies of Invesco International Developed Dynamic-Multifactor Index ETF and Invesco Russell 1000 Dynamic-Multifactor Index ETF and the funds' ISINs and ticker symbols will not change.

Defiance ETFs Announces Ticker Symbol Change for Defiance Connective Technologies ETF
April 30, 2026-Fund to Begin Trading Under New Ticker "UFOX" on April 30, 2026
Defiance ETFs today announced that the ticker symbol for the Defiance Connective Technologies ETF will change from "SIXG" to "UFOX," effective at market open on April 30, 2026. The Fund will continue to trade on NASDAQ under the new ticker symbol, UFOX.
The ticker symbol change does not affect the Fund's investment objective, expense ratio, CUSIP, or distribution policy; however, on the same effective date, the methodology of the Fund's underlying index - the BlueStar(R) Connective Technologies Index - will be updated to add Satellite Communications and Space Industry Companies as a distinct category within the Index, alongside Connective Technology Companies. As a result, the Fund's portfolio holdings and sector exposures may differ from those prior to the change.

BMO Launches Hedged Units of BMO Broad Commodity ETF
April 30, 2026--BMO Asset Management Inc. ("BMOAM Inc."), the manager of the BMO ETFs, today announced the launch of the Hedged Units of BMO Broad Commodity ETF (the "BMO ETF"). The Hedged Units are a series of units supplemental to the existing CAD Units of the BMO ETF, which were listed on Cboe Canada Inc. in October 2025.
The BMO ETF provides a transparent and efficient way to diversify a portfolio without trading individual commodities.
The BMO ETF has closed its initial offering of Hedged Units (Cboe CA: ZCOM.F) and is listed and trading on Cboe Canada Inc.
The BMO ETF's objective is to seek to replicate, to the extent possible, the total return performance of a broad-based commodity index (the "Index") or a successor index thereto, net of fees and expenses. The investment strategy of the BMO ETF is generally to invest in derivative instruments (such as commodity-linked derivative instruments) to seek to replicate the total return performance of the Index.

Global X Launches U.S. Infrastructure Development Index ETF for Canadian Investors

Vanguard to Update Names of U.S. Equity Index Funds Tracking Morningstar Indexes
April 29, 2026-Following Morningstar's rebranding of the CRSP Market Indexes to Morningstar Indexes, Vanguard today announced upcoming changes to the names of multiple Vanguard U.S. equity index funds tracking those benchmarks. "Morningstar" will be added to the names of these funds and their corresponding indexes.
For example, Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund will become Vanguard Morningstar Total Stock Market Index Fund. The fund name changes are expected to occur in July 2026 and will not affect the funds' investment objectives or how they are managed.

Brazil plans overhaul of ETF rules to allow new products
April 29, 2026-CVM review could open door to actively managed and leveraged ETFs as market matures
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil (CVM) plans to move forward with updating rules for exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to accommodate a broader range of products.
According to Claudio Maes, head of Institutional Investor Supervision (SIN), the review is expected to incorporate different structures-such as passive, active, and leveraged ETFs-within a single regulatory framework, but with tailored rules for each category.
The regulator intends to submit the proposal for public consultation this year, in line with its 2026 agenda, with the regulatory process expected to be completed by 2027. Maes made the remarks at an ETF-focused event hosted by B3 in Rio de Janeiro.

CIBC Global Asset Management announces expansion of CIBC Investment Grade Bond Funds lineup including two new laddered funds
April 29, 2026--CIBC (TSX: CM) (NYSE: CM) -CIBC Global Asset Management (CIBC GAM) today announced the expansion of its target maturity bond funds with the launch of five new CIBC Investment Grade Bond Funds and two new laddered funds (CIBC 1-5 Year Laddered Investment Grade Bond Fund and CIBC 1-5 Year U.S. Laddered Investment Grade Bond Fund) - each available in Series A, Series F and Series O.
Additionally, all new funds offer ETF series units with the exception of the CIBC 1-5 Year U.S. Laddered Investment Grade Bond Fund. These ETF Series units have completed their initial offering and are now available for trading on Cboe Canada.
