Following the success of the TA-25 Index Weekly Options Tel Aviv Stock Exchange will soon launch US Dollar weekly derivatives
August 7, 2016--The board of directors of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) decided in its meeting on Thursday (August 4, 2016) to launch US Dollar weekly options.
Weekly TA-25 Index options were introduced by TASE in 2013 and their trading volumes are constantly on the rise. The average daily volume of such options was approx. 12,000 in 2013 and currently exceeds 50,000.
Fixed-Income ETFs Begin Trading in Tehran
August 5, 2016--On July 9, 2016, for the first time in Iran, a fixed-income ETF begins trading under "Parand".
Reza Eivazlou, deputy head of the underwriter Sepehr Investment Bank, told SENA that the underwriting process of Sepehr Parand Paydar ETF's will happen on July 19-13.
The ETF managers are set to invest on fixed-income securities, bank deposits and certificates of deposit, according to Eivazlou.

UAE, but they also pose significant fiscal and financial risks as GRE's debt remains high, though
declining and actively managed.
Across a sample of 53 companies with government ownership and
publicly available information, panel regression estimates suggest that leverage depends mainly on
firm characteristics but also on macroeconomic variables like government gross debt to GDP and
global financial conditions which makes GREs vulnerable to external shocks in the current uncertain

Fed's unchanged policy boosts Gold
August 2, 2016--The Federal Reserve held rates unchanged and refused to move interest rates higher during its July meeting, boosting buying interest in Gold. The precious metal broke out of its holding pattern just after the Fed,s statement on July 28th, rising quickly past $1341/ounce from $1320 as investors rushed back to their safe-haven outlook.
