Saudi to launch $30-50 billion renewable energy programme soon
January 16, 2017--Saudi Arabia will launch in coming weeks a renewable energy programme that is expected to involve investment of between $30 billion and $50 billion by 2023, Saudi Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih said on Monday.
Falih, speaking at an energy industry event in Abu Dhabi, said Riyadh would in the next few weeks start the first round of bidding for projects under the programme, which would produce 10 gigawatts of power.

January 15, 2017--The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) announces that the changes regarding the shortening of trading halts will come into effect on 16 January 2017.
The TASE Board of Directors resolution shortens the duration of trading halts by 15 minutes, from 45 Minutes to 30 Minutes. A trading halt occurs when material information is released about a trading company, its controlling shareholders or its securities.
