Greed, panic surrounds Bitcoin traders
May 28, 2017--Bitcoin's roller-coaster ride continued on Sunday, with the cryptocurrency recovering 7.2 per cent to trade at $2,293. It had fallen 28 per cent over the weekend.
Last Thursday, Bitcoin reached $2,779, a record high, but dropped to a weekly low of $1,974 on Saturday, according to Coindesk data.

Ignoring oil rebound, Dubai stock traders resort to profit-taking
May 25, 2017--Ignoring a rebound in oil prices, traders in Dubai stocks resorted to profit-taking ahead of Ramadan as the index struggled to reclaim the recent resistance level.
The Dubai Financial Market General Index closed 0.73 per cent lower at 3,327.13, after the index recently failed to breach the key resistance of 3,400.

ESMA clarifies traded on a trading venue under MiFID II
May 22, 2017--The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has issued today an opinion regarding the implementation of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II) and Regulation (MiFIR).
The opinion clarifies the concept of "traded on a trading venue" (TOTV), which is relevant for a number of provisions under MIFID II and MiFIR.
The concept of TOTV is in particular relevant for:
pre-trade and post-trade transparency requirements on market operators and investment firms operating a trading venue as well as for investment firms (including systematic internalisers) operating over-the-counter (OTC); and
transaction reporting obligations.

Non-oil growth is projected to rise to 3.3% in 2017, reflecting more gradual fiscal consolidation, stronger global trade, and higher Expo 2020 investment.
