Mideast Stocks: Property shares lift UAE, blue-chips pressure Saudi

July 23, 2019--Gains in shares of property and contracting firms lifted Dubai and Abu Dhabi stocks in early trade on Tuesday, while weak earnings from blue-chips weighed on the Saudi bourse.
The Dubai index gained 0.7%, boosted by Emaar Properties, which rose a further 1.6%.

Boursa Kuwait outperforms GCC markets in Q2-NBK

July 20, 2019-- Boursa Kuwait outperformed GCC markets during the second quarter of 2019, surging 3.8% versus 0.5% for the regional markets, according to a report released on Saturday by the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK).
For the second quarter as a whole, the Kuwait market's performance was strong relative to peers, up 3.8% versus 0.5% for the GCC.

July 18, 2019--Abu Dhabi stocks leapt 4% on Thursday, their biggest intra-day gain in nearly four months, led higher by the United Arab Emirates' largest lender First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) which surged 6.5% on strong second-quarter earnings.

Mideast Stocks: Abu Dhabi outperforms thanks to banks, other Gulf markets mixed

July 18, 2019--Stocks in the United Arab Emirates surged on Thursday, outperforming most major Gulf markets, boosted by strong earnings at top lenders.
In Abu Dhabi, the index closed 2.7% higher, buoyed by First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), which rose 4% to its highest level since May after posting a 5% rise in second-quarter net profit.
