On March 9th TASE Launches New Tel Bond-Composite Index
March 6, 2014--The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) is launching a new bond price index, the Tel Bond-Composite index, which comprises all investment-grade bonds (BBB- or higher) which meet the criteria for index constituency. The index will be launched on 9 March 2014.
The Tel-Bond indices attract avid interest, creating demand for products tracking these indices. The TASE staff examined various alternatives to launch additional Tel-Bond indices and in the process the need to launch an index which reflects the return on the entire corporate bond market became apparent.

Saudi bourse advances despite negative market breadth
March 5, 2014--The Tadawul All Share Index gained 0.14 per cent to close at 9,161.33 points on Wednesday, March 5.
Market leader SABIC closed flat at SAR114.50. Al-Ahlia Insurance Company jumped by 9.69 per cent to SAR70.75. Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company recorded the biggest day-loss, finishing three per cent lower at SAR64.75.

Bahrain market stabilises further
March 5, 2014--The Bahrain All Share Index added 0.13 per cent to end at 1,369.56 points on Wednesday, March 5.
Bahrain Telecom (Batelco) plummeted by 6.43 per cent to BD0.32. Islamic bank Al-Salam Bahrain was the top gainer as the share surged by 9.37 per cent to BD0.21.

Etisalat slips after releasing annual results for 2013
March 5, 2014--The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange General Index (ADXGI) advanced by 0.36 per cent to close at 4,938.07 points on Wednesday, March 5.
Fish producer Asmak jumped by 12.71 per cent to AED10.20. The shares of Emirates Telecommunication Corporation (Etisalat) declined by 0.35 per cent to AED12.
