April 28, 2014--The Abu Dhabi market index (ADXGI) fell by 1.2 per cent to reach 5,090.41 points on Monday, April 28.
Green Crescent Insurance Company recorded the biggest surge, closing 7.96 per cent higher at AED1.22. Aldar Properties, the first developer in the emirate, declined by 2.12 per cent to reach AED4.16.

Tadawul market rebounds, Makkah Construction soars

April 23, 2014--After crossing the barrier at 5,000 on Tuesday, April 22, the Dubai Financial Market General Index (DFMGI) closed 2.31 per cent higher at 5,133.95 points, despite bearish market breadth.
Twelve shares advanced, while 17 declined. More than one billion shares worth AED3.775 billion changed hands. Arabtec edged up by 10.67 per cent to hit AED8.71.
