DP World locked up in yo-yo trading
August 20, 2014--The FTSE NASDAQ Dubai UAE 20 Index closed unchanged at 4,456.310 points on Wednesday, Aug. 20.
Market bellwether DP World dived two per cent to close at $20.09. The third largest container port operator has been trading in a narrow range around $20 since mid-July 2014.

Sudatel soars at Abu Dhabi market on H1 results
August 18, 2014--Abu Dhabi-listed shares performed mixed on Monday, August 18, with the equity market index ADXGI rising by 0.70 per cent at 5,051.53 points.
Sudanese telecom firm Sudatel jumped 7.22 per cent to close at AED1.04.

Dubai developers gain on EC Harris report
August 18, 2014--The Dubai stock market index DFMGI advanced by 0.74 per cent to hit 4,825.60 points on Monday, August 18.
Emaar and Union Properties, the first and second developers in Dubai, gained 1.50 per cent and one per cent, respectively. Aman Insurance lost the most, ending off 2.30 per cent at AED0.904.

Saudi market steady after IMF upgrade for kingdom
August 18, 2014--The Tadawul All-Share Index closed 0.10 per cent higher at 10,650.09 points on Monday, Aug. 18.
Earlier in the week, the IMF upgraded its growth forecast for the oil-rich kingdom for 2014 to 4.6 per cent, from 4.1 per cent.

August 14, 2014--In Abu Dhabi, shares ended a volatile week mixed, leaving the market index ADXGI up one per cent at 5,052.94 points on Thursday, Aug. 14.
Aldar Properties, the first developer in the UAE capital, added 0.92 per cent to hit AED3.69. Dana Gas stabilised at AED0.71.
