In 2015, Middle East to see rising interest in Exchange Traded Products
December 13, 2014--The Middle East market would witness growing interest in structured products like Exchange Traded products (ETP) in 2015, Standard & Poor's Dow Jones Indices told Gulf News.
Currently there are about 6 ETP's in the Middle East traded in the United States, and Blackrock, the world's biggest money manager, plans to start an ETP for Saudi Arabian shares.

EGX Continues Its Efforts To Attract New Companies To List
December 12, 2014--The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) is continuing its promotional plan for the business community.
In the last few days EGX participated in 2 meetings targeting the Egyptian Junior Business Association (EJB) and 10 th of Ramadan Businessmen association in presence of a large number of promising companies. The meetings aimed to exhibit the benefits obtained by the companies either by listing in the main market or in NILEX market for small and medium companies.

Saudi stock market's 12-month performance turns flat

Qatari market plummets more than four per cent
December 11, 2014--The Qatar Exchange 20 Index of Doha lost 4.33 per cent to close at 11,805.32 points on Thursday, December 11, representing a five-month low.
Over the week, the gauge lost over seven per cent. Qatar Fuel Company or Woqod lost 3.35 per cent to close at QAR202.

UAE stock markets crash over oil price slump
December 11, 2014--The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) plummeted 7.42 per cent to close at a nine-month low at 3,594.95 points on Thursday, December 11.
Not a single share gained value. The gauge's sister index ADXGI in Abu Dhabi dived 4.40 per cent to end at 4,381.16 points, a near one-year low.

Qatar market remains under selling pressure
December 10, 2014--The Qatari market index QE 20 slipped 0.11 per cent to hit 12,339.87 points on Wednesday, December 10.
Banks and telecoms advanced and halted the steep fell of the Doha-based bourse somewhat. Qatar National Bank or QNB closed unchanged at QAR205.

Etisalat lost 0.88 per cent to AED11.30. Aldar Properties dived 1.75 per cent to AED2.80.
