Egypt bourse to allow trading in ETFs from Jan. 14
January 12, 20155--Egypt's stock exchange will allow trading in Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) for the first time on Wednesday, as part of efforts to encourage foreign investment and boost liquidity.
ETFs are typically funds that track equity indexes, though they can also track commodities and other assets, with component stocks usually represented in proportion to the size of their market capitalization.

January 8, 2015--Although oil prices stabilised at a low level without showing any hint for a rebound, the Saudi Arabian Tadawull All-Share Index ended 1.86 per cent higher at 8,284.89 points on Thursday, January 8.
Positive market breadth (147 shares advanced, 12 declined) indicated a broad consensus for the rebound of the Riyadh-based market.
