BATS Chi-X Europe Announces Exclusive ETF Listings from Van Eck Global
Europe's Largest Exchange Goes Live with Four Van Eck 'Market Vectors' Funds Today
June 1, 2015--BATS Chi-X Europe, Europe's largest stock exchange, today announced today that two uniquely-listed ETFs, issued by Van Eck Global, began trading on BATS Chi-X Europe's Regulated Market.
A further two ETFs by the same issuer were also made available for trading.
The Van Eck Global Market Vectors Gold Miners UCITS ETF (Ticker: GDGJx) and the Van Eck Global Market Vectors Junior Gold Miners UCITS ETF (Ticker: GDGXx), both denominated in GBP, are the first funds to list exclusively on BATS' pan-European platform.

The trading volume in the Warrants and Certificates market to the end of May was up 46% year-on-year
The trading volume in the Derivatives market in May was up 10% from the previous month
Corporate Debt trading in May was €57.7 billion and the volume of issues grows 84% in the first five months
Equities
The equity trading volume on the Spanish Stock Exchange in May was €84.3 billion, up 17% year on year, representing the best month of May since 2010. Accumulated volumes in the first five months of the year reached €433.5 billion, up 27% year on year.

Euro Bond Washout Subsides as Barclays Sees Bulls Keeping Faith
May 29, 2015--May has been a turbulent month for bond trading, though investors haven't lost faith in the sovereign market, Barclays Plc and BNP Paribas SA say.
German government bonds rose a second week, stabilizing after a selloff that saw 10-year yields jump more than 70 basis points in about three weeks.

ESMA fosters derivatives market transparency
May 29, 2015--The European Union's derivatives markets are becoming more transparent through the public availability of harmonised aggregate data reported to the six trade repositories (TRs) registered with the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) under the European Markets Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR).
The publically available data allows market participants to monitor the extent, dynamics and trends of derivatives trading in the European Union, including identifying what has been traded on and off-venue.
EMIR requires TRs to publish a breakdown of:
the aggregate open positions per derivative class;
aggregate transactions volumes per derivative class; and
aggregate values per derivative class.

Radio Televisione Italiana lists its first ever bond with the ISE
May 28, 2015--Radio Televisione Italiana, the state owned public radio and television broadcaster, has listed its first debt instrument on the Irish Stock Exchange (ISE).
The €350m 1.5% notes due 28 May 2020 are admitted to Main Securities Market (MSM).

Confidence Returns to Russian Businesses
May 28, 2015--Confidence returned to Russian companies in May as the rate cuts by the Central Bank of Russia and the recovery in the rouble brought about a considerable improvement to the business environment.
The MNI Russia Business Sentiment Indicator rose by 11.5% to 51.3 in May from 46.0 in April, bringing
to an end eight consecutive months of contraction.

Nomura launches USD and EUR-hedged JPX-Nikkei 400 UCITS ETFs
May 28, 2015--Nomura today announces the launch of the "Nomura JPX-Nikkei
400 Daily EUR-Hedged UCITS Exchange Traded Fund" and the "Nomura JPX-Nikkei 400 Daily USD-Hedged UCITS Exchange Traded Fund".
The ETFs are listed on the London
Stock Exchange and are available to investors in key European markets.
The investment objective of the funds is to track the performance of the recently launched
JPX-Nikkei 400 Total Return US dollar and Euro-hedged indices.
