Coinbase opens bitcoin exchange in UK
April 28, 2015--Bitcoin payment processor Coinbase opened an exchange and online wallet service in the UK on Tuesday, allowing people to convert sterling into bitcoin.
Expanding to the UK will make it easier to access bitcoin in one of the financial capitals of the world, San Francisco-based Coinbase said in a blog on its website.

April 24, 2015--Today, Commerzbank starts as a market maker in the ETP segment of SIX Swiss Exchange and quotes prices for the Source Physical Gold P-ETC.
This product is listed since November 2010 and aims at replicating the performance of the London Gold Market Fixing PM Fix Price/USD.
ETPs are collateralized, non-interest-paying bearer debt securities (debentures), which are issued as securities and may be sold and redeemed on a continuous basis. LSE marks 15 years of ETFs with £186bn turnover last year
April 23, 2015--London Stock Exchange Group has marked the 15th anniversary of the first London exchange traded fund listing, the iShares FTSE 100 ETF which was listed on the LSE in April 2000.
As of today, there are 791 ETFs trading on the London market linked to indices that cover a large range of markets, such as the FTSE China A-50 and asset classes including fixed income and commodities. Over $20bn is now linked to FTSE China indices alone, says LSEG.

April 20, 2015--This report provides detailed figures regarding the performance of SIX Swiss Exchange's ETF segment.
In the first quarter of 2015, the Swiss stock exchange saw a trading volume in ETFs of CHF 33.2 billion.
Compared to the previous quarter this represents an increase of over 38%.
This was revealed today in the latest edition of ETF Quarterly Statistics[pdf]. An important factor was the all-time high on 28 January, when CHF 2.7 bn were traded in ETFs. In total, 322'919 ETF transactions were carried out on SIX Swiss Exchange in the 1st quarter. Average transaction size was CHF 102'687 and therefore higher than in the previous years.

April 20, 2015--The WisdomTree ISEQ 20(R) UCITS ETF (the ETF) issued by WisdomTree, a world-leading provider of exchange traded funds (ETFs), has been admitted to trading on the Irish Stock Exchange (ISE).
The ETF has a very competitive total expense ratio (TER) of 0.49% and is trading under the ticker (WTIE). It commenced trading with assets under management (AUM) of €29m following completion of its merger with the original ISEQ 20(R) ETF.
Draft EU rules on broker commission a setback for asset managers
