June 27, 2017--The Financial Policy Committee (FPC) prepares and publishes a Financial Stability Report (FSR) twice per calendar year.
The FSR sets out the FPC's assessment of the outlook for financial stability in the United Kingdom. To do this, the FPC identifies the risks faced by the UK financial system and weighs them against the resilience of the system.

MiFID II: ESMA issues final guidelines on trading halts
June 27, 2017--The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has issued today its final guidelines on trading halts under the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II).
MiFID II provides that Member States shall require a regulated market to be able to temporarily halt or constrain trading if there is a significant price movement in a financial instrument on that market or a related market during a short period and, in exceptional cases, to be able to cancel, vary or correct any transaction.

ETFGI reports assets invested in ETFs and ETPs listed in Europe reach a new record of 682 billion US dollars at the end of May 2017
June 27, 2017--ETFGI, a leading independent research and consultancy firm on trends in the global ETF/ETP ecosystem, reported today assets invested in ETFs/ETPs listed in Europe reached a new record high of US$682 billion at the end May 2017 surpassing the prior record of US$658 billion set at the end of April 2017.
ETF/ETP assets have increased by 3.7% from US$658 billion in April 2017 to US$682 billion in May 2017 according to data from ETFGI. Year to date, ETF/ETP assets have increased by 19.1% from US$572 billion to US$682 billion.

A new equity index ETF issued by Deutsche Asset Management has been tradable via Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Monday.
The db x-trackers MSCI Emerging Markets Index UCITS ETF (DR) 1C enables investors to participate in the performance of stock corporations from emerging markets. The reference index comprises large and mid-cap stock corporations that together represent 85 percent of the free float shares in each industrial sector worldwide.
