July 18, 2014--After receiving the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") of Nigeria's approval to establish a NGN 160 billion Medium Term Note (MTN) Programme and "No Objection" from the SEC to start the book building process on June 6, 2014,
the African Development Bank ("AfDB" or the "Bank") proceeded to tap the market for its maiden local currency issuance in the Nigerian capital market.
