October 19, 2015--On September 28, 2015, the AfDB relaunched the African Economic Outlook 2015 at the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The 2015 Africa MDGs Report and the 2015 African Economic Outlook Report, are two reports that provide comprehensive and comparable data and analysis comprising economic, social and political trends in Africa.

Nigeria: IMF Cuts Nigeria's GDP Growth Forecast to Four Percent
October 8, 2015--The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has forecast a four per cent growth rate for Nigeria's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2015, as the country continues to contend with the challenge of declining income from the drop in crude oil prices.
The latest growth forecast by the fund is 2.25 percentage points lower than its last year's projection for Nigeria.
