BlackRock Files to Offer ETF Share Classes on Five Active Mutual Funds

September 29, 2026-Established strategies with nearly $55 billion in combined assets1
BlackRock has filed initial registration statements with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to add ETF share classes to five active mutual funds.

As ETFs have become a preferred vehicle for investors, the new share classes would provide another way to access BlackRock’s active investment strategies.

The filings cover:
BlackRock High Yield Portfolio
lackRock Strategic Municipal Opportunities Fund
BlackRock California Municipal Opportunities Fund
