New equity ETF from UBS on Xetra: access to companies in developed markets worldwide with currency hedging

April 25, 2024--A new exchange-traded fund issued by UBS Asset Management has been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Friday.
The UBS ETF (IE) MSCI World UCITS ETF (hedged to EUR) offers investors access to the performance of a broadly diversified portfolio of 1,465 companies from 23 developed markets worldwide. Currency fluctuations against the euro are hedged in this share class.

The benchmark index, MSCI World, reflects around 85 per cent of the global market capitalisation of developed markets. US companies are the most strongly represented at 71 per cent, followed by Japan at 6 per cent and the United Kingdom at 4 per cent. The most represented sectors include IT, finance and healthcare.
